Your Pre-Wedding shoot

Capturing the Love Before the “I Do” — Your Pre-Wedding Portrait Shoot

Your wedding day may be the main event, but the love story begins well before that. A pre-wedding portrait shoot is the perfect way to capture the excitement, anticipation, and unique connection between you and your partner before the big day. Whether you're camera shy or total naturals, this relaxed session is all about the two of you — no pressure, no timelines, just love, laughter, and a little bit of adventure.

What to Expect from the Shoot

Our pre-wedding sessions blend candid moments with some gently posed portraits. Think stolen glances, spontaneous giggles, windswept hair, and warm embraces — we’re here to document your genuine connection in a natural way. Of course, we’ll guide you when needed, but the best images often come from those unscripted moments in between.

We'll explore beautiful outdoor locations together — perhaps a coastal stroll, a nearby park, or even your favorite hidden spot. The goal? To create a relaxed environment where you can simply be yourselves, with a little magic from the camera.

What to Wear: Keep It Smart, Keep It You

We recommend smart/casual outfits that reflect your personal style while complementing the surroundings. Think clean lines, soft colors, and textures that photograph beautifully in natural light. If you're unsure, earthy or neutral tones always work well with outdoor backdrops and help keep the focus on you two.

Above all, dress for the season and the weather. A light knit in spring, soft layers in autumn, or breathable fabrics in summer can make all the difference in your comfort — and it shows in the photos.

Don’t Forget the Shoes

Since our shoot may involve a little walking — and possibly a trip to the beach — make sure to wear or bring along comfortable shoes that can handle sand, pebbles, or a trail. You can always bring your “fancy” pair for a few styled shots, but practical footwear is key for those in-between moments as we move from place to place.

After the Shoot

Following your session, you'll receive a beautifully curated gallery of 20–30 professionally edited images, capturing all the genuine moments and details from the day.

As a special touch, you’ll also have the opportunity to select your favourite image to be framed as a signing print — a lovely keepsake for your wedding day where guests can leave messages and well wishes around the edge. It’s a beautiful blend of art and memory that you’ll treasure forever.

Why a Pre-Wedding Shoot Matters

Beyond the beautiful photos, this shoot is also a chance to connect with your photographer before the wedding day. It helps you get used to being in front of the camera, and gives us a chance to learn what makes you smile, what poses feel natural, and how best to capture your vibe.

Bonus? You’ll have a gorgeous set of images to use for save-the-dates, your wedding website, or even printed décor at your reception.
