Photography and Video are like Wine and Cheese, they are totally different in their own right but compliment each other.

What is Hybrid and why is it different from just booking a Videographer?

Hybrid does not replace a Videographer it is something different entirely.

A Videographer is a Professional who will use high-end Video equipment and skills to capture your day and produce, typically a Full Video that will be of an hour or more and highlights. The production of this video is a lengthy process with a lot of skill and knowledge required.

Why not use a Content Creator? Content Creators are becoming more and more popular, as they typically produce content on the day with a smart phone which is typically unedited and available soon after the Wedding.

So how is Hybrid different than these?

Hybrid is a mix of both Content Creation and Video, When you choose Hybrid with us you will have 3 of us. A photographer, an assistant photographer and a Content Provider. We capture your day with a combination of cameras, and smartphones. This is edited and we produce bespoke 7-10 min videos (a length that you are likely to watch - again and again). We also create reels that you can share, to highlight you day.

The advantage is you don’t have a film crew following you around all day, we work together and therefore we capture the important moments as these is no priority over video or photographer. Content is shared so Photos and video are captured simultaneously.

Does Hybrid replace the need for a Videographer?

No If you want a professionally filmed and edited video, then a Videographer is the way to go, always get recommendations from your Photographer, as they know professional they have worked with in the past and having a good working relationship is key for your wedding day.

Hybrid is something different and bridges the gap between Content Creation and Videography. The style is loose and free like CC but with a bit of polish like Video.
